Le paillage

I purchased two hay rolls from a nearby farm (Daifuku Bokujo, Maja). After cutting the sugar cane sprout I proceeded to spread it, realizing that I might need another ten to eighteen rolls, and some help.

The best would be to gather friends with (small) trucks to go and gather dry leaves etc. from nature. I shall enquire with the clean center also to check for availability of natural waste that we can use to cover the soil.
